Maybe you just got a promotion, maybe your starter car just drove its last mile, or maybe you decided to just go for it because you deserve something better; whatever the reason, now may be the time to upgrade your ride from the base level to the next level. INFINITI offers tons of reasons to spring for the higher trim level, and Germain INFINITI of Easton is here with the details.

It’s hard to imagine how the best can get better, but INFINITI makes it easy. The automaker offers multiple trim levels to upgrade its already top-of-the-line models. Beginning with the base level INFINITI PURE and moving up through LUXE, ESSENTIAL, LIMITED, and SPORT, depending on which model you’re talking about, you’ll see upgrades in amenities as well as power.

Better Amenities

In most INFINITI models, you’ll have multiple levels of upgrades to choose from. Moving from one level to the next, you’ll enjoy the addition of several features, inside and out. For exterior features, you’ll see add-ons like an expansive dual-pane panoramic moonroof with one-touch open and close. You’ll also see crystal-clear LED headlights and taillights, as well as innovative rain-sensing windshield wipers, which use sensors in the windshield to automatically activate when it rains and adjust wiping speed to match the intensity of the rain falling. You'll be able to see everything outside with the addition of surround-view camera system (pictured below), which combines images from multiple exterior cameras to create a 360-degree top-down view of your surroundings.

On the inside, drivers and passengers alike will appreciate the upgrade to a peerless Bose® premium audio system, featuring MP3 playback capability, Radio Data System (RDS), and speed-sensitive volume control, which can automatically adjust the speaker volume to compensate for louder road and engine noise at higher speeds. If you have multiple drivers taking turns behind the wheel, you will really love the addition of the dual-occupant memory system. This feature remembers settings for driver's seat, steering wheel, and outside mirror positions and pairs these settings with each key fob, so the vehicle can automatically adjust these settings depending on which key fob is used to unlock the doors.

Better Traction

With many models, the upgrades offer the move to either all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. For the unstoppable 2019 INFINITI QX80 (pictured below), this means you can upgrade the beefy 400-hp 5.6-liter V8 engine to command the road with INFINITI All-Mode® 4WD. This feature provides maximum adaptability for any road or driving condition. It constantly monitors changing road conditions (in milliseconds) and adapts torque between the front and rear wheels to maintain maximum traction on snowy or rainy surfaces.

Better Power

Several models also include scalable powertrains. The best example of this is the high-speed 2019 INFINITI Q60, which comes available with two impressive turbocharged engine options. First, the 3.0t uses a 3.0-liter V6 with twin turbocharges to blast off at a clean 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. But if you want track-ready performance, you should chose the Q60 Red Sport 400, which uses the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with the addition of performance-enhancing tech, like a turbo speed sensor and dual intercooler water pumps. This rocket flies with as much 400 horses and 350 lb-ft of torque. When you’ve had this much to eat, you have to go back for dessert.
